DataDive: Listing Checker is published by Data Dive Digital. This policy explains what information the app handles when you install and use it.

Information we access

With your permission, the app reads your product catalog through Shopify's Admin API: product titles, statuses, descriptions, images and their alt text, prices, SKUs, barcodes, shipping weights, product types, SEO fields and inventory totals. It uses this information only to find listing problems and show them to you.

The app does not request or access any customer, order or staff information.

When you open the app, Shopify sends your store's address and a short-lived session token to our server so the page can be displayed securely inside your Shopify admin and your products can be read on your behalf.

Storage and retention

The app does not save your product data. Scan results are sent directly to your browser to be displayed and are discarded when you close the app.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. To confirm whether your store has an active subscription, the app checks your store's subscription status with Shopify. The app never sees or stores payment details.

Data requests and deletion

Because the app stores no shop or customer data, requests from Shopify to view or delete customer or shop data are acknowledged and there is nothing further to delete. Uninstalling the app removes its access to your store immediately.

Third parties

The app runs on Cloudflare's hosting infrastructure, which carries data between Shopify and your browser encrypted over HTTPS, and loads Shopify App Bridge from Shopify.
